High School Scholars Program

Grades:

11th and 12th

Class times:

Varies with the class in which the student is enrolled.

The High School Scholars Program allows sophomore and junior high school students with a B+ or better grade-point average to take college-level courses at The University of Scranton. College courses can be taken for credit at a special tuition rate of $175 per credit. Classes are offered year-round, and times vary with the class in which the student is enrolled.


University of Success

Grades:

7th and up

Dates:

two weeks in the summer and monthly throughout the school year

The University of Success provides academic, social, and cultural opportunities designed to motivate students to complete high school successfully and to enroll in post-secondary education. A two week residential program is held each summer for the 20 newly accepted seventh and eighth grade students. The summer program is designed to enhance creative thinking, problem solving, and communication through activities that expose students to concepts in mathematics, physics, biology, space exploration and earth science.

Lady Royals Basketball Camp

Girls Basketball Offensive Skills Clinic

The camp emphasizes the teaching of all phases of becoming a better offensive player. Lectures, demonstrations and drill are provided to improve individual skills. Scranton Lacrosse Mini-Camp

This will be a great opportunity for experienced lacrosse players to come and learn from the University of Scranton coaching staff. Each camp will be have 3 sessions comprised almost entirely of full field scrimmages. Ages: Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school. Soccer Camp

Camp Format:
Under the direction of Matt Pivirotto and his staff, the campers will be exposed to all phases of the game. The camp will include various skills, competitive games and a great learning atmosphere. The use of lectures, demonstrations, games and drills will provide each camper the opportunity to learn from the best coaches and players in the area.

Tennis Camp

Camp Format:
The Royal Tennis Camp is open to all boys and girls, ages 6-16, and will take place at the Poly Hi Tennis Courts on the campus of The University of Scranton from Monday, July 14, through Friday, July 18, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. daily. Camp features include: Fundamentals, Ground Strokes, Volleying, Serving, Positioning, Strategy, Footwork, Conditioning and Doubles’ Play.
