The Linden Plaza apartment complex will be available for housing for students registered for undergraduate/graduate classes. Residences are co-ed. Students may move into residences one day before classes begin.

Rooms do not have air conditioning, but students may bring a personal fan. Students must provide their own linens. Light housekeeping is provided.

Each residence has kitchen facilities. Dining areas on the third floor of the DeNaples Center are restricted to conference food service in the summer. However, the first floor food court will be open Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch.

For residence rates, room reservations or additional information, call the Residence Life Office, 413 Quincy Avenue, at (570) 941-6226.

DeNaples Center

The four-story DeNaples Center provides dining and meeting space for students, as well as rooms for community events. Key features of the buildinga are a grand lobby, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and Quiznos, and a main dining area on the third floor. The building also houses our bookstore, offers a fireplace lounge, student forum for clubs and activities, a theater and a ballroom.

The Royal Card (I.D.)

All students attending The University of Scranton must have a current Royal Card (photo I.D.). This card must be presented for student services and for use of computer labs, athletic facilities and the library.

A Royal Card account may be established for on-campus spending in various locations such as the dining facilities, the Bookstore and convenience store, Printing Services, the Weinberg Library for photocopying and Internet printing, the Information-Reception Center for fax services, Public Safety for decals or fines, and in vending and laundry machines.

I.D. photos are taken at the Royal Card Office in St. Thomas Hall, Room 102. A voucher obtained at the College of Graduate and Continuing Education/Summer Sessions Office must be presented at the time a photo is to be taken. Call (570) 941-4323 for summer hours or to request a brochure.

Parking

Any student wishing to park or operate a vehicle on University property must register with the Parking/Traffic Office, Parking Pavilion. A vehicle registration control card must be completed and signed prior to receipt of a parking decal. To complete vehicle registration, students must provide a valid motor vehicle registration, a current class schedule and a validated Royal Card.

Students with physical handicaps may apply for special parking privileges in the Parking/Traffic Office. Appropriate documentation may be required by office staff in accordance with the Common wealth of Pennsylvania for an individual requesting a handicapped permit.

Signing the vehicle registration control card indicates that the student will comply with all parking regulations in effect for summer. Visitor spaces are off limit to all students.
