FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ’s)

How long in advance do I need to schedule my services with University Catering?

You may plan your event either in person with our Catering Team or over the telephone. For most events, 10 days notice is optimal. For larger events, 21 days is the optimal amount of time necessary to make sure that your choices are available.

When do I have to forward my final count to University Catering?

You need to call us with the final count 3 business days prior to your event. This time is necessary for our culinary staff to adjust the quantities for your event to ensure that there is plenty of food.

When will I know how much my event is going to cost?

The 21 days also allows enough time for our Team to make sure that they are able to gather any necessary information so that you have plenty of time to make the necessary decisions regarding the cost of your event. Remember, our Team is dedicated to providing the services that you need while also meeting your event budget. We suggest discussing the per person budget in the beginning of the event planning process so that our experienced Team can help to optimize the event possibilities for you and your guests.

Please feel free to call on us for any questions you may have concerning the event planning process. We are more than willing to assist you in any way possible. We look forward to working with you in creating a memorable event.
