Students who complete degree requirements on any of the above four graduation dates may normally attend the commencement exercises held on May 31, 2009 , as long as they did not participate in the prior year's exercises. Students are encouraged to attend, and should notify the Registrar's Office in writing should they not be able to attend. The graduation fee is the same whether or not the student participates in the commencement exercises. No diplomas from any graduation date will be released until May 31, although transcripts will note the actual date of degree completion (August 31, December 31, January 31, or May 31).
