Hiring Plan
The intent of this section is to allow chairs to describe
(and briefly argue for) the hiring expectations for the next five years.
Requests for the coming year's hiring cycle should be clearly articulated, but
also put in the context of a plan of development for the department. Important
considerations include contribution to mission and GE, growth in the major, new
areas of the discipline or areas not covered by current faculty, or
interdisciplinary possibilities.
